Hi Sir Omeng. Right now my portfolio is all in red. On 6 companies where I bought stocks from I only gained in DNL. The other companies that I have stocks are BDO, CHP, MPI, JFC and EDC. Can you please help me decide on where of these stocks shall I continue buying more and where of these stocks I can gain more? I opened my COL account just this last August.

    Thanks and regards,

    Mae ann

      Hi Mae ann
The decision should come from your own studies and analysis of each of those stock.
but personally I think they are sound companies and as long as they remain fundamentally sound. Their price drop can be used to accumulate these cheaper stocks on dips.

Hello, I’m OFW, I opened a BDO saving account 2 months ago but I only asked my brother to open a bank account for me sa Pinas but under his name and he registered it online at the same time so that I can able to use/ execute my payments online. Ang tanong ko can I used this BDO account w/ brother details to register for BDO trading but I want my information to be used in registration?

For COL Financial, TIN number is needed. I was a government employee before I worked here in Qatar kaya ang alam ko may TIN na ako. Ang probelma, wala pa akong TIN card. Would you mind if paano ko makukuha TIN ko sa BIR even nasa ibang bansa ako?

    1. Omeng Tawid Post author

Di naman obligado magdagdag. Okay lang kahit start kalang ng 5k at matagal kapa magdagdag ulit if wala kpng pandagdag.

    Good Day,

I would like to ask if the 5k or 25k is just the initial premium for opening an account, and do i still have to top it up with fund to start investing?

Or kung yung 5k or 25k account po is also the funds that i can start using to buy stocks?

hi im not yet into investing.i really want to .i already downloaded the COL application but im confused. I dont have BDO and BPI account.I want to do my investing online.Do i need to first open an account at BPI which is my choice ? what kind of account should I open in BPI ? so I can put the account number in my COL application.Thank You

    1. Omeng Tawid Post author

Bank account is necessary because that’s where your broker will deposit your money when you want to “take it out of the market”. Savings account is enough. You can open in BPI, BDO, Metrobank or any bank allowed COL Financial.
